Welcome to Harwich Junior Theatre, Cape Cod's Premier Family Theatre. In 2006 Cape Cod View Magazine voted Harwich Junior Theatre as the Best Theatre on their top 200 list! HJT is the recipient of the New England Theatre Conference Regional Award for Best Educational Theatre and has been awarded the Readers Choice Award for Best Place for Family Entertainment. It is our goal to embrace a world of theatre that is interesting, illuminating, and accessible. We believe that children must be invited into the life of a theatre. Harwich Junior Theatre produces fairytales, adventures, musical, classical and contemporary drama for children and family audiences. Harwich Winter Theatre produces a more mature repertoire for young adult and adult audiences. We have learned that when people of all ages create theatre together, the potential for excellence is boundless.
