Your support of Harwich Junior Theatre means so much to our community. For nearly 60 years HJT has done more to influence young people in the arts than any organization on Cape Cod. Your gift to HJT is a catalyst that truly impacts the generations. HJT not only develops future theatre going audiences, we develop the minds, imaginations and the creative nature of our students.

Currently in his sophomore year at Northeastern University, Joe has combined a major of his own making: Computer Science and International Affairs with a focus on the Middle East. He has a part-time job building sets for the Northeastern University Theatre!

"In my time at the HJT, I learned more than I could ever recount here. Not just about theater, but about myself and the world around me. I learned skills not limited to the stage, but that could also be used to help me navigate through adolescence and succeed at many of the goals I set for myself. I've always had great luck making friends, no doubt in large part because of the lessons about respect and acceptance learned at the HJT. I always knew that no matter what happened in my life, there was a place that I could go and be safe. Your work to keep the theatre standing and thriving brings joy to anyone who has ventured inside its walls. Thank you."

HJT's innovative programs have inspired many of our students to become teachers and to bring arts education to schools and theatres throughout the nation. HJT was recently named one of Massachusetts' Greatest Places to Visit by the Massachusetts Office of Tourism. We could not have achieved these successes without your support.

Ticket revenue only covers 50% of our operating costs. It is vital to our mission that we keep ticket prices and class fees affordable for all. Foundations have been most generous, but we must raise additional funds from our patrons - you!
