in our in-house classes and workshops!
Harwich Junior Theatre offers a wide range of classes for students of all ages! Whether you are 3 or 103 we have a class for you! Wiggle and shake, laugh and sing with our youngest Creative Movement students. Maybe you would enjoy Comedy Improv. or would like to learn about sets and lights in a Technical Theatre workshop. From Adult Acting to Musical Theatre, we have it all.

| Bring the world of play into the theater: build concentration, communication, imagination and self-expression. Includes movement exercises, theater games in small and large groups,storytelling, and pantomime. Workshop concludes with a final demonstration. |

Auditions are held Monday June 30 between 3:00-5:30. Please prepare a monologue and call to schedule an audition time.

Explore the elements of set, sound, lighting design, stage craft and set construction for productions! Learn how to operate sound and light boards and crew for a show.
All materials are included but students must provide their own safety goggles as they will learn to use various tools, including power tools. |

The HJT Jester opens each performance of the summer season! Students must exhibit the skills and the readiness to jester in performance. Class includes basic clowning, tumbling, and elocution, movement and performance skills. Required for all performing HJT Jesters. |

Class Enrollment Information
A minimum enrollment of 8 students is required for the class to run. The student/teacher ratio is 12:1 for most classes. A 10% discount is offered when a student combines two or more classes. Scholarships and work/study arrangements are available based on need. Summer sessions are either all eight weeks (July and August) or the four weeks in July or the four weeks in August. Refunds
Students withdrawing before the first class receive a full refund. Eight-week students withdrawing before the third class receive a 70% refund. Four-week students withdrawing before the second class receive a 70% refund. For summer classes meeting only once a week, eight-week students withdrawing before the second class receive a 50% refund, and four-week students receive no refund.
